Cardiovascular Disease

Did you know that cardiovascular disease is the world's number one killer? In this edition of Health Care Talks, Dr. Clayton Okpara, talks to us about hypertension, also commonly called high blood pressure.

Hypertension is a disease that is overwhelmingly present in the African American community. Dr. Okpara will discuss the stages of hypertension, causes of the disease, and treatment options.

Health Care Talks is presented by Progressive Initiatives, Incorporated (PII) and Stork’s Nest Charity Fund of Dallas (SNCFD) in conjunction with Phi Beta Sigma – Omicron Sigma Chapter and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Kappa Zeta Chapter.
